The major expansion of Nestle’s factory in Blayney, NSW required site works throughout the facility to achieve a campus style finish. A key consideration for the organisation is the recognition of the value of the work environment for staff health and well-being, and therefore, output.
sala4D was commissioned to deliver high quality landscape spaces throughout the facility that would be low maintenance and beautiful. Documents from concept to construction were delivered, with the built product so effective that a second phase was commissioned for a series of internal staff spaces.
Two weeks after initial construction, the site received a 1 in 200 year flood, which tested finishes and planting methods. All passed with little damage and have grown into a well-balanced landscape.
