sala4D was commissioned in November 2018 to prepare an activation masterplan for Lake Forbes. The Lake is a vital open space resource within the heart of Forbes and provides important active and passive recreation opportunities. It is a much-loved and important asset within the community.
Community consultation underpinned this project, run as a series of open community workshops. A community event was held on site with surveys and questionnaires which were designed to ascertain values and aspirations for the long term management of the Lake.
An activation masterplan with supporting photo-realistic views as well as a prioritisation schedule with cost estimates was adopted in December 2019.
