sala4D recently completed a suite of wayfinding and interpretive signage for Dubbo Regional Council, focussing on their CBD and River Precincts.
The process included detailed site inspections to ascertain the best locations for signs and to take accurate GPS data to be used for mapping and as a guide for the
installation.
A suite of six signs was developed for approval by Council, including detailed mapping of all signs and how they work in concert with each other.
Some signs include wayfinding maps, so a graphic map for the whole city was developed so that it could be imported into the final sign graphics.
Interpretive signs were developed with assistance from Council’s Heritage Officer for a range of sites around the CBD and River Precinct.
Finally, sala4D assisted Council procure the best method for production of the over sixty signs, ready for installation.
For installation, a guide was produced for staff.
