Jubilee Park Masterplan was successful in 2021 to receive grant funding under the NSW Public Space Legacy Program, allowing the masterplan to be delivered over a shorter period of time. This provides greater efficiencies, costs savings as well as community and local business benefit.
Detail design and documentation for the complete revitalisation of the park, has been delivered through a staged program of works, which commenced at the end of 2021. The stages of work include the following:
• Stage 1: Early Landscape Works
• Stage 2: Landscape Works
• Stage 3: Lighting and Electrical Works
• Stage 4: General Building Works
• Stage 5: Water Feature Installation
sala4D has co-ordinated the tender documentation sets with the various sub-consultants, which has included the following specialists: lighting engineers; artists; water feature specialists; irrigation consultants; structural engineers; and geotechnical engineers.
sala4D’s commission includes tender evaluation and project management during the construction phase. The project is to be completed by March 2023.
